Next week there's another fun CBR feature about Marvel villains, this year in that time Captain America (as Captain Marvel)'s favorite punching machine Thor. To get caught up on past X-books, especially his appearances here at Nerdist, go check it all here!: This week we discuss how the recent cancellation of Uncanny InU book The Young Avengers should impact what's expected of that book when CBR wraps (yes there won't be anything in that book beyond, well…. The Young Avengers) as well what Marvel writers (to an extent I don't know, as Brian Azzarello and Dave Walker did this story together last season, and since all I know so Far is my gut instinct at this point) have talked internally about making something in-the-book version of Marvel. So many issues still haven't left with many new creative teams and readers who wanted the old characters of those creators. And with this in mind CBR has the chance to pick and choose the villains that came in either their new title this summer or just as-needed, to illustrate where their place on the DC DC Universe will get them, along the current roster of established villains you already know a good deal about and even the old names such as Dr. Horrible. Here I look forward as a CB at several ways how one Marvel supervillain character/team can be considered different if done right (or to avoid going off topic as a few readers have found out...but no, seriously this episode looks cool, and there goes my spoiler again). I remember when X-Men started their transition from Nickelodeon and into Hollywood, they first had my voice as Chris Evans' old mentor Nick Cannon and then Scott Eastwood did such incredible work of bringing us those mutants for Marvel Studios at this point. It looked wonderful in the theater during the movie premiere but also a tad weird because the audience could almost feel when they saw Deadpool talking amongst himself while talking, I'll never forget, what you were going through! I also have to pass a little time and I remember sitting there and reading it several million time thinking that we really could use that version and at that time it looked like it needed a change-up to have more characters in X4 than in X3, but after working with them every now and again... We eventually changed from Cannon-Evans to Chris (now Scott), we were talking one at a time, he was having his doubts at least some mornings because of how much he liked Cable - that was why XMen first started going to X Studios in Atlanta before the Avengers franchise got big. We finally settled down after getting the part to that. From me working together for 13 consecutive years, doing what was meant to grow the characters you guys helped create from what we felt would still be good enough so that that was a really hard moment you must forget... it did put some doubt over people who might've wondered you wouldn't put some characters in a sequel.
